The Carbondale Clay Center will host dinner for 200 at “Settings: The Carbondale Clay Center’s 20th Anniversary Fete,” a special event featuring live music by Canary Feathers and Pearl & Wood, appetizers and dinner prepared by chef Mark Fields of Field2Fork with ingredients provided by Sustainable Settings and Two Roots Farm, paired wines provided by Rhumba Girl Liquors, drinks from Marble Distillery and Suerte Tequila and beer on tap from Roaring Fork Beer Co. and Capitol Creek Brewery, a silent auction, a visual history of the Clay Center and speakers including sculptor James Surls. Attendees will enjoy dinner on handmade plates they will be able to take home with them at the end of the evening. The plates have been created by 20 ceramic artists, and the retail value of each ranges from approximately $60 to $250. Artists include Ginny Beesly, Tyler Bopp, Doug Casebeer, K Rhynus Cesark, John Cohorst, Steven Colby, Katherine Dehmlow, Matthew Eames, Lisa Ellena, Angus Graham, Anne Goldberg, Claire Green, Giana Grossman, Sam Harvey, Diane Kenney, Peg Malloy, Frank McGuirk, Alleghany Meadows, Wayne Petefish and Collette Spears.
