Often you can see them from the highway. Recently Aspen Public Radio got a tour of a fracking operation run by WPX Energy near Parachute. Hear the story by APR's Elise Thatcher below. See a slideshow of photographs of the rig by APR's Roger Adams HERE.

Tue, 08 Jul 2014 12:36:16 +0000 Elise Thatcher 21198 at Seeing Drilling, Fracking Up Close Western Slope Representatives Testify On New Air Regulations
Oil and gas operators must have equipment to catch and cut down on methane leaks.<a href=";blobheadername1=Content-Disposition&blobheadername2=Content-Type&blobheadervalue1=inline%3B+filename%3D%22Regulation+Numbers+3%2C+6+%26+7+-+Unofficial+Draft.pdf%22&blobheadervalue2=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobtabl Mon, 24 Feb 2014 12:00:00 +0000 Elise Thatcher 14696 at Western Slope Representatives Testify On New Air Regulations Money Savvy Women
Women control just over one half of all wealth in the United States. By the end of this decade it projected women will control two thirds of this country’s wealth. This shift will likely reshape the financial industry as women increasingly seek financial advisors who understand their attitudes toward money. Men and women see money differently.
