Carolyne Heldman

Carolyne Heldman started her career in broadcast media in college radio. She pivoted to television in 1986 when she worked as an on-air personality (or “VJ”) at MTV Networks. She continued in television working on several sports shows including ESPN’s long running magazine show, Ski World. Heldman was the Station Manager for the Aspen Skiing Company’s television station for several years, returning to radio as Group Program Director for a company that owned commercial stations in resort communities in Colorado and California. She started at Aspen Public Radio in 2008 as Program Director, taking over as Executive Director in 2013.
