Gary Gerst

Board of Directors

Gary Gerst is a retired business executive. During his career he was a founding partner of LaSalle (now JLL), a global real estate investment management, development and consulting firm. Gary served as Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. He also served as Chairman of Henderson Global Funds, Harris Insight Funds, and as a board director of the Investment Company Institute.

Gary is a current board member and past board Chairman on both Metropolitan Family Services, a large social service organization in Chicago, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. He is a Life Trustee of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and former board chair of the Board of Visitors for the Duke University School of Engineering. He completed his undergraduate degree from Duke University and earned an MBA in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Gary and his wife, Virginia, live in Chicago, Illinois. They are the parents of two adult sons, and have two granddaughters.
