George Kaye
Former Board of DirectorsGeorge Kaye is the retired CEO and Chair of Shoe-Town, Inc. Since retiring, the East Coast native has been active with Rotary International, the Buddy Program, the Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the Denan Project, a medical service group that concentrates on humanitarian projects in southeastern Ethiopia. In addition to completing an undergraduate degree and a master's in business administration at Rutgers University, George was a licensed certified public accountant. During the 1950s, George served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a lieutenant, junior grade. George and his wife Harriet Washton live in Snowmass Village and New York City.
