AREDAY founder has discovery center ideas

Aspen Public Radio

The founder of the AREDAY summit told a crowded room in Snowmass yesterday that he has a better location to display the prehistoric finds in Snowmass. Ryer Gardenswartz reports.

Chip Comins, chairman and CEO of  AREDAY, said the Snowmass Discovery Center should serve as the grand entrance to Snowmass Village.

“In my view, in a perfect world … we would take the rodeo and we would take it and put it down on Highway 82," he said. "And we would build there. When you come into our little village in that circle the most stunning and astounding building.”

Recent talks about building the center at Base Village have stalled once again due to a lack of funds.
