Aspen City Council swore in members new and old Monday night. That included a grassroots organizer known for criticizing the group. Newly elected Bert Myrin took an oath with returning councilman Adam Frisch.
Mayor Steve Skadron was also sworn in for a second term. Earlier in the meeting, Councilmembers said goodbye to an outgoing colleague. Dwayne Romero decided to not run for Council after after his term finished up this month. He was praised by the Council and city staff for his contributions while in office.
