Aspen Film announces Shortsfest program

Aspen Film

Aspen Film has released the program for Shortsfest this year.

The festival offers a wide range of dramatic, comedic, animated and documentary shorts, all under 40 minutes.

This year, the 11 tracks include several award-winners from the Sundance and Cannes film festivals. International films from 29 different countries are on the slate, as well.

Aspen Film’s new director of programming Langdon Zakheim planned the lineup. Also new is a “Super Screener” pass that offers a full festival pass at a discounted rate for those younger than 35.

Shortsfest runs from April 3 through 8.  Films are screened at the Wheeler in Aspen and Crystal Theater in Carbondale.
