Directors of the Aspen Power Plant (APP) met behind closed doors with the Aspen City Council this week to hash out the details of their lease for the publicly-zoned old powerhouse on Aspen’s northside.
Aspen Public Radio’s Alycin Bektesh spoke with Aspen Brewing Company owner and APP director Duncan Clauss about the particulars of the lease.
Pending approval in a public vote, the APP lease is set to begin Oct. 1. The Aspen City Council will accept citizen comments on the lease terms during their June 7 work session.
