The public will have a chance to get to know the candidates for Aspen School Board Wednesday.

The Board of Education Candidates’ Forum is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the seminar room at Aspen High School. There are three seats up for election on the five-member board this fall. All three incumbents are running, as well as two members of the District’s Accountability Committee.

The event will be moderated by college counselor Kathy Klug and Kitty Boone, the executive director of Aspen Ideas festival.

Candidates will have 60 seconds to answer questions under categories like experience, school finance and school culture. All registered voters who live within the Aspen School District boundaries will see the candidate race on their ballots.
