There are four films making U.S. debuts at next month’s festival. It starts with “Certain Women,” which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, and features Michelle Williams, Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern in a portrayal of the intersection of their lives in Montana.
Another movie, “The Last Laugh,” explores the line between dark comedy and plain-bad taste.
There are 20 movies total being shown during the five-day festival — all of them making Colorado debuts.
The films are being screened at the Wheeler Opera House and the Crystal Theatre starting on Sept. 21.
