Voters in Basalt can meet their town council candidates Tuesday evening.

There are six candidates vying for three seats on Basalt’s town council. Two incumbents, Bernie Grauer and Gary Tennenbaum, will be on the ballot alongside four challengers: Carol Hawk, Ryan Slack, Todd Hartley and William Infante. Current council member Mark Kittle is not seeking reelection.

Tonight’s meet and greet is an informal, citizen-sponsored gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Basalt Library. There will be a more formal panel discussion sponsored by the Basalt Chamber of Commerce in early March.

The election is April 3.
