Tonight cruised the Olympic Park after the Swiss Latvia hockey game under the blaze of the Olympic Flame. There is a large population of homeless dogs wandering the Olympic Plaza. So sad because there is no such thing as a Humane Society, the dogs roam about until exterminated. It seems such a contrast to the Olympic Torch.
We are staying on the Grand Holiday Cruise and a Grand Holiday it is! This Portuguese ship has crew speaks a combination of about 20 languages. We spend most of our days at the venues and evenings at the Olympic Plaza so not really much time to enjoy that fine buffet food (they start serving dinner at 10:00 PM) and throb of disco dancing. And the best part of staying on a cruise ship...getting off!
