Eagle County’s Commissioners will review the proposed 2018 budget on Tuesday. The county said, in 2018, it’ll spend almost $40 million less than it did in 2017.
There were several large capital projects the county paid the bill for this year, including making upgrades at the airport, purchasing land and constructing the roundabout in El Jebel.
The county also said, in 2018, it’ll spend less on healthcare for its employees. The final adoption of the budget is scheduled for Dec. 12.
