Google Gobbles Nest, Founder Talks Early Days at Apple

Big tech news came yesterday with word of Google paying $3.2 Billion in cash to purchase Nest Labs. Nest creates "smart thermostats" developed by original iPod designer and company CEO Tony Fadell.

Several articles written over the past 24 hours have analyzed aspects for the sale, why Fadell and company decided to take the payout and what future he will have in running the company.
