Jackie Greene will share his songs with the crowd at Belly Up Aspen on Wednesday.
Greene’s seventh studio album, titled “Back to Birth” came out in 2015. It was his first album in five years. He’ll pull songs from that record for his Aspen performance.
After embarking on a series of musical collaborations with his former group the Black Crowes, he’s now bringing his original songs to Aspen.
Live on stage, Green gravitates to the guitar, piano and organ while covering lead vocals. His touring band consists of guitarist and vocalist Nathan Dale, Fitz Harris, playing drums and vocals, and bassist Jon Cornell.
Folk artist David Luning is touring with and will open for Greene. His new album “Restless” is #25 on Spotify’s Americana charts. The show starts at 8:30pm.
