Non-Profit in the Spotlight: Marshall Direct Fund, Part 1

The Marshall Direct Fund takes its name from the Marshall Plan, which was created in 1948, after World War II, in an effort to strengthen war-weary countries by aiding in their recovery.

Silbi Stainton, the founder of the Marshall Direct Fund, discusses the organization's history, her personal interest in counter-terrorism and international studies, and the importance of education. The Marshall Direct Fund invests in education and women's economic empowerment in Pakistan in an effort to build a more peaceful world.
