The Thrift Shop of Aspen is celebrating their 65th birthday with a party. The shop is looking back and celebrating 65 years of action. Ellen Walbert a long-time volunteer, shares about the birthday party festivities. The Thrift Shop of Aspen is where locals and visitors have found reasonably priced goods, even a cookbook with local recipes. Patti Stranahan is the former President of the Thrift Shop of Aspen and discusses the cookbook. The Thrift Shop of Aspen is looking back and celebrating 65 years of action, while also looking to the future. Lynda McCarthy is the Treasurer of the Thrift Shop of Aspen and shares about the future of the non-profit organization. September's celebration isn't just for the physical goods that have made The Thrift Shop of Aspen what it is, but it is also for the volunteers who have dedicated countless hours and hard work. Diane Wallace, co-President of the Thrift Shop of Aspen explains what makes their volunteers special.
