Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence made an unannounced stop in Aspen yesterday, but very few people got to see him. Pence spoke as part of the Republican Governors Association’s high rollers “Executive Roundtable” program held in Aspen this week. According to the Washington Post, the program is meant to give wealthy donors personal access to Republican leaders.

The association’s primary mission is to elect Republicans to state leadership nationwide. Membership to the executive roundtable program requires a 25,000 dollar a year donation and includes quarterly meetings.

The Pence campaign announced two events in New Mexico for Tuesday, but did not publicize his mid-day stop in Aspen. Similarly, House Speaker Paul Ryan will be in Aspen today, days after winning a primary election in his home state of Wisconsin. Specific details about his Aspen visit are not available.

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump will be in Aspen Thursday Aug. 25  for a private fundraising event hosted by the Pitkin County Republicans. Tickets for the event range from 2,700 dollars to 25,000 dollars.
