Should Colorado host a future Winter Olympic Games?

Colorado has never hosted an Olympics or Paralympics. Eagle County Commissioners meet Tuesday with a representative from the Olympic Exploratory Committee, who is taking the temperature of communities in the state, especially those in the mountains along I-70.

Gov. Hickenlooper and Denver's mayor, Michael Hancock, will decide if they’ll submit a bid this April. The U.S. Olympic Committee has until the fall to decide if they’ll submit a candidate to the International Olympic Committee, who selects a host city seven years in advance of the games.
