Aspen Public Radio’s news director Carolyn Sackariason explained why she’s so passionate about supporting public media.

“I grew up in a house and traveled in cars that had public radio on all of the time so my appreciation for news delivery in a calm and in-depth manner runs deep,” she said. “I can dissect issues and understand the world we live in much more when I listen to NPR. And Aspen Public Radio’s programming outside of the news entertains me, feeds my curiosity and enriches my soul.
