Students return to AMFS

Aspen Music Festival and School students return to the Bucksbaum Campus in the next few days, while performances start next week.Students and their teachers will be using new facilities this summer. Faculty returned to their offices at the Bucksbaum campus up Castle Creek a few weeks ago after a multi-million dollar campus overhaul.

The 632 students are 10 to 37 years old and represent almost 40 countries. There were more applicants this summer than ever before, and just under half are returning students.

One highlight is a performance of “La Boheme” in July.
