The Roaring Fork School District has three open seats on their board. Applicants can submit their materials until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1.
In addition to the application packet, interested applicants need to have a petition signed by at least 50 voters throughout the school district.
As of Thursday afternoon, the district had received one application each for two seats, both from incumbents.
No applications have been submitted for the third seat, but a district representative said, “a few are in the works.”
Voters will elect the district’s new board members on Nov. 7, 2017.
