USS Colorado crew visiting Glenwood Springs High School

U.S. Navy

Four Navy crew members from the nuclear submarine the USS Colorado will talk to students at Glenwood Springs High School about the value of STEM courses in their work.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The crew is touring the state this week discussing why they joined the Navy.

The USS Colorado is the newest attack submarine in the Navy’s fleet and, the Navy says, is one of the most sophisticated of its kind.
