Thursday at the Aspen Chapel, there’s the first installment of the “Create Bravely” workshop starting at 4.

 

Thursday at the Aspen Art Museum, German photographer Thomas Struth’s latest exhibition opens. The reception starts at 5:30.

 

Friday and Saturday at 7, 5Point Film Festival will screen adventure films at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen.

 

Friday at the Red Brick Center for the Arts, the new exhibit “Leaning into the Light” opens. That reception begins at 5.

 

Friday at the Temporary, there’s a poetry slam judged by National Poetry Slam semi finalist Meta Sarmiento. That starts at 6:30 in Basalt’s Willits Town Center.

 

Saturday in Glenwood Springs, comedian Barry Rothbart takes the stage at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue at 7.

 

Saturday at the Pitkin County Library, Library Cinema will screen the new film “Alaska is a Drag” at 7:30.

 

Saturday night, Passion Pit will play Belly Up Aspen. Doors open at 8:30.
