The winners have been crowned for the 2015 AspenFilm Festival.
“Room” won the audience award for best feature film, while “Romeo is Bleeding” won the award for best documentary film.
“Room” stars Brie Larson and explores the bond between mother and daughter in a tale of captivity and one’s willingness to help children experience the world.
“Romeo is Bleeding” follows Donte Clark as he tries to combat gang violence with the poetry of William Shakespeare.
The two films beat out 21 other features and documentaries.
