Conductor and harpsichordist Nicholas McGegan leads the popular "Baroque evening" program tonight at 8:30 at Harris Concert Hall.  Among his collaborators are violinists Gil Shaham and Adele Anthony.

Tonight at 7:30, the venerable Takacs Quartet begins their traversal of the complete six quartets by 20th-century Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.

After a busy opening weekend, today is a relatively quiet day but still offering plenty for the public: a free tent tour and chamber music at Harris Concert Hall.  

The Aspen Music Festival and School is in full swing this weekend with three crowded days of concerts and other activities.

AMFS President and CEO Alan Fletcher discusses the first concert of the 65th season.  Tonight's program features Philip Glass' 2010 multimedia composition "Icarus at the Edge of Time" and piano wunderkind Conrad Tao performing Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto.  For more information, click here.
