Associate Director and Artistic Director for Ceramics, Doug Casebeer, talks about the ceramics program at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center. The center has one of the best ceramic facilities in the country - allowing ceramic artists to practice traditional and contemporary ceramics.

Artist Brad Miller is no stranger to the Anderson Ranch Arts Center. Arriving at the Ranch in 1980, Miller ran the ceramics studio from 1980 - 1984 and then served as the Executive Director from 1984 - 1992. He is back at the Ranch to teach a two-week long ceramics workshops, focused on ceramic forms and glazes. Miller now lives in Los Angeles and works in a variety of mediums, including painting and photography, in addition to his functional and structural ceramic work. More of his work can be found here

A collection of Miller's work is now on display at the Harvey Meadows Gallery in Aspen. 

Doug Casebeer, the Artistic Director of Ceramics, Sculpture and Woodworking, has been a member of the Anderson Ranch Arts Center for 29 years. He also chairs the Artist in Residency Program. He has been an important part of the development and evolution of the Ranch and shares his experiences at the Ranch and his perception on the necessity of Art in the Snowmass Village community and the world.
