Born Missing a Femur, Athlete Aims to Medal in Sochi

Alpine skier Melanie Schwartz will race for Team USA at the Paralympics but, she’ll do it on just one leg. The part-time Aspen resident was born without a femur, but started skiing at a young age. This will be her second Paralympics, but her first competing for the United States. In 2010 she raced for Canada. Aspen Public Radio’s Marci Krivonen has more.
