  Aspen Music Festival and School President and CEO Alan Fletcher talks with host Chris Mohr about the 2015 season and its highlights/challenges. We also chat with audience members outside the Tent.

Pianist Conrad Tao and violinist Stefan Jackiw discuss the rise to stardom and maintaining a balanced life and career. Tao also unveils his upcoming CD release for the first time. AMFS President and CEO Alan Fletcher hosts.

Jalen Lee is a recent graduate of The University of Cincinnati where she studied viola performance. She’ll be going back there this fall to get her masters.

On the last tour of the Benedict Music Tent and Harris Hall this summer, about two dozen people got to go into the depths of the venue.

Three Pulitzer prize-winning composers: host  Steven Stucky and interviewees Jennifer Higdon and Shulamith Ran in conversation about their upcoming performers and the composing process.

  Host Chris Mohr interviews pianist Vladimir Feltsman about his recitals honoring Russian composers inspired by Scriabin and Shostakovich whose works were suppressed by the Stalin regime and are relatively unknown in the West. 

  Today is Friday, August 14th.Violinist Joshua Bell performs double duty tonight at 6 in the Benedict Music Tent, conducting the Aspen Chamber Symphony in works of Mendelssohn and Beethoven, and playing the Mendelssohn Concerto.This morning at 10:30 at Castle Creek I on the Bucksbaum campus, Orli Shaham returns with her free acclaimed interactive concert, Baby Got Bach, for kids ages 3-6 accompanied by an adult.At 10 tomorrow in the Wheeler Opera House, it’s the opera scenes master class with the up and coming stars of the Aspen Opera Theater Center.The final Music on the Mountain concert of the season will be presented tomorrow at 1 at the top of Aspen Mountain.
