CrossCurrents - Huts for Vets & Aspen Fringe Festival

Huts for Vets presents "Make Sure it's Me", a play about veterans returning home after deployment, read by veterans from the Roaring Fork Valley. Guests are Paul Andersen, Dr. Jerry Alpern and Adam McCabe from Huts for Vets.

And David Ledingham, Donald Sage Mackay and Adrianna Thompson from the Aspen Fringe Festival on this year's lineup, including the Morales Dance Company, "Venus in Fur" and a play workshop on "The Last Outlaw" written by Mackay.

A judge schedules the first major court hearings in the Nancy Pfister murder case. Three people are charged with conspiring to kill the Aspen native.

A new study shows there may be a link between natural gas development and defects that develop in a child before birth.

Preview: Hudson Reed Ensemble

Before we know it summer will be here when Aspen comes alive with all manner of performance; from intellectual lectures to classical music and theater.  The Hudson Reed Ensemble is already preparing for the season, which will include the Harold Pinter play; Betrayal a return of the beat poets and as it has done for years, Shakespeare in the Park.  This year Shakespeare will come inside because the Galena Plaza will be under renovation.  Kent Reed is the ensemble’s artistic director.  He spoke with APR’s Roger Adams.
