Friday night, thousands will flock to Snowmass Town Park for the "experience." As Claire Woodcock reports, bands like The Revivalists are equally excited for the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday are both sold out. Jazz Aspen Snowmass president Jim Horowitz said the hype has to do with the tight lineup for this year’s JAS Labor Day Experience. The opening bands all compliment the headliners.
Take Louisiana rock band The Revivalists, for instance. Ed Williams rocks the pedal steel guitar alongside 6 other bandmates. He said the band loves Aspen and they’re psyched to return.
“When you get to play that stage it just has this beautiful view …" said Williams.
The Revivalists will open up for The Roots and Maroon 5 on Sunday.
