As is to be expected this time of year, the holiday shopping season has come to the art world.
The Red Brick is joining the Aspen Chapel Gallery and the pottery sale at Colorado Mountain College among others on the holiday art scene.
The show “My Favorite Things” officially opens tonight at the Red Brick in Aspen. It’s the location’s first wintery holiday show.
Angie Callen, executive director of the Red Brick, says the goal was to have something that could straddle the line between art exhibit and an artisan exhibit.
“We wanted to try and see how it would go for us, but at the same time, still have something that was an art exhibit.”
The show includes jewelry, glass sculptures and photography.
The opening reception is tonight at 5.
