Newest parks and wildlife commissioner discusses recreation, conservation

Dr. Carrie Hauser has been named to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife commission.

Gov. John Hickenlooper recently appointed Glenwood Springs resident Dr. Carrie Hauser to the state’s Parks and Wildlife Commission. This board sets rules and oversees state parks and wildlife programs.

Elizabeth Stewart-Severy sat down with Hauser to talk about the appointment.

 


Hauser is also the president and CEO of Colorado Mountain College. She will represent outdoor recreation and park interests on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife commission.
