Non-Profit in the Spotlight: The Thrift Shop of Aspen, Part 1

The Thrift Shop of Aspen opened in 1949 and is celebrating its 65th anniversary. For decades the shop has accepted donated goods, resold them, and then given the money to a myriad of organizations. It is a haven for finding great little treasures at affordable prices. From clothing and outdoor gear, to books and dinnerware, The Thrift Shop of Aspen is loved by Aspen locals and visitors alike. Diane Wallace is the co-President of The Thrift Shop of Aspen and long-time volunteer, she shares about the mission and history of the non-profit organization. Ellen Walbert is a board member and active volunteer of The Thirft Shop of Aspen and shares about the community involvement of The Thrift Shop of Aspen.
