Non-Profit in the Spotlight: The Thrift Shop of Aspen, Part 3

The Thrift Shop of Aspen has a generous scholarship and grants program. Each year The Thrift Shop of Aspen awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Roaring Fork Valley. Lynda McCarthy is the current Treasurer of The Thrift Shop of Aspen and shares about the generosity of the community, and the selection process. Ellen Walbert is a long-time volunteer and serves on the scholarship committee, she shares about the impact of scholarships. The Thrift Shop of Aspen has a grants program that supports the arts, education, the environment, community needs, and youth activities in the Roaring Fork Valley. Patti Stranahan is the formed President of The Thrift Shop of Aspen and shares about giving back to the community, and providing a sustainable impact for other non-profit organizations.
