Seth Beckton’s trip up the Loge Peak chair lift this week has now gone viral. News outlets nationwide are reporting on the incident, in which the stranger next to him threw him to the ground below.
Beckton spoke with reporter AlycinBektesh on Tuesday about the bizarre incident and the reaction from the community.
The Pitkin County Sheriffs' office is investigating the incident. Deputy Jesse Steindler says they are not currently seeking the community's help in identifying the suspect because they have a person of interest.
