  Today is Friday, July 31st. I’m Chris Mohr.Patrick Summers conducts the Aspen Chamber Symphony today at 6 in the Benedict Music Tent in Brahm’s 1st Hungarian Dance, Chopin’s 1st Piano Concerto with Nikolai Lugansky, a Haydn scene and aria featuring soprano Susanna Phillips, and the Brahms Variations on a Theme by Haydn.

  Today is Thursday, July 30th.Pianist Hung-Kuan Chen will give a master class at 10 this morning in Harris Concert Hall.At 10:30, it’s Tunes and Tales at the Pitkin County Library, a free and fun program for children ages 4-9 accompanied by an adult.Today at noon at the Aspen Community Church, there’s a free Spotlight Recital.Chapel Chamber Music takes place today at 4:15 at the Aspen Chapel. Admission is free.

  Tom Buesch (Bush) presents a free listener’s Master Class on The Baroque Violin today at 12:30 at Crossroads Church.

  Pianist John O’Conor will present a Master Class this morning at 10 in Harris Concert Hall.

  Beginning at 9 this morning in Harris Concert Hall, you can hear some of the new works to come out of this year’s composition program. Admission is free.

  Today and every Monday throughout the Festival at 10:15, the Festival offers a free guided tour of the Bucksbaum Campus. If you haven’t yet toured the newer buildings there, here’s your chance. Meet at the Administration Building.
